Program Notes:
while earth and sky is a collaboration between myself and my wife Lacey, a poet and writer. This song is an opportunity for pause, a chance to breathe. It’s a moment in time where we, as humans, can sit back and appreciate that seasons are passing, that nothing stays. Gentle, flowing melodies, lush harmonies, and a quiet piano ostinato elevate the words that invite us to see the beauty in that impermanence. So we invite you, the singers and listeners, to sit back and feel this moment.
